The official website of the Advocating Transparency and Accountability Project “ATAP” won “The 10 Who Are Changing the World of Politics & the Internet Award 2009″ – from eDemocracy Forum.

This prestigious award seeks to recognize the innovators and pioneers – those who blaze new e-political trails every day, the dreamers and doers who bring democracy online. Trophies were awarded at a ceremony held during in the French National Assembly on Thursday, October 22nd, in partnership with the American web portal PoliticsOnline, the Politech Institute of Europe and Blog Territorial.

Nazaha website is one of the main tools which were developed by the Advocating Transparency and Accountability Project “ATAP”, supported by the United States Agency for International Development “USAID”. Nazaha works as a watchdog for the daily news related to corruption and transparency, the site includes training materials and research papers as resources to the activists and interested persons in the field of combating corruption, and enhancing transparency.
